22 Healthy Habits We All Should Do + My New Gym Must-Have!
Good morning everyone! Today I have some healthy habits for us all to keep in mind as we head into August. These are all things that I have to work on too, so let’s work on them together!
Start fresh each day
Put down the phone when you’re out with people
Wash your hands often
Sneeze into your arm, not your hand
Know that exercise doesn’t have to necessarily be a huge time commitment
Don’t grocery shop on an empty stomach
Keep healthy snacks around at home, work, and other daily activities
Stop beating yourself up over small things
Don’t snack if you’re not hungry
Use SPF everyday!
Try and drink at least 8 cups of water daily
Stop buying things you know you’ll only wear once
If you aren’t sure what workout to do, use YouTube as a free resource
Keep your loose change in a jar—it all adds up!
Stand up for yourself
Avoid using tanning beds
Listen to your body
Don’t skimp out on sleep—your body needs to rest and recover!
Prioritize stress management
Don’t be afraid to say no sometimes
Always wear a seatbelt
Learn how to take constructive criticism
I hope these little reminders will be useful as you head into August!
Now I want to show you guys my new best friend, the Swatch Skin! As many of you know, I’ve totally fallen in love with exercising again and it’s awesome. I was introduced to this watch a little bit ago, and I thought I would try it out during a workout.
Usually my watches aren’t very flexible, so I end up taking them off during workouts--but what I love about this new Swatch is that I don’t have to!
The band is super flexible, and it moves with my body, allowing my wrists to have full range of motion when working out.
I also really love the fact that the band is super thin, and not metal. All of my other watches have metal or wood bands, so it’s really nice changing up the material of my arm candy with a sleek and minimalist design.
