Girls' Night Out at The Chase Park Plaza
We all know that a Girls' Night Out (GNO) is absolutely necessary every now and then. Last weekend, my girls (Elena, Yasmin, and Julia) and I booked a staycation at The Chase Park Plaza Royal Sonesta in Saint Louis for our GNO. The hotel is in the Central West End, which is one of my favorite areas to explore in STL.
Before checking in, we decided to hang out around the CWE for a bit. There's currently a gorgeous Christmas tree on display for the holidays, along with the usual shops and restaurants to explore.
After checking out the Central West End, we headed inside to check in. We were greeted into our suite with a gorgeous cheese platter, macarons, drinks and other assorted snacks.
After exploring CWE, we were pretty hungry. That being said, it's safe to say the food didn't last very long. It was the perfect set up for us to chat and enjoy each others' company before we got ready for dinner.
I decided to wear a Mattea LinAe go-to look for the GNO. For me, this meant I was sporting some shredded black jeans from Express, a white lace top and detailed booties from Soft Surroundings, a simple necklace from Collections by Joya, and a simple black cross body from Mad Style.
After we were all dressed, we headed downstairs where we enjoyed some pre-dinner drinks and enjoyed some conversation by the fire.
After drinks, we headed to the Chase Club for some din din! It was my first time eating at the Chase Club, and I can assure you all it won't be the last. You bet we ordered almost everything on the menu that night since we were hungry and celebrating being an amazing group of gals (as all gal pals should do). I thought the food was all very well done and perfect for a fun night out with friends. I would recommend the shrimp appetizer, Bulgogi Wrap (my personal favorite), and the Gooey Buttercake--which is a dessert STL is known for.
After dinner, we headed into the lobby to explore and admire the holiday decorations. It was absolutely stunning. The Chase Park Plaza Royal Sonesta is known for its brilliance and history which makes it a very desirable place for weddings, receptions, and special events. The hotel also includes a movie theater, a skydeck overlooking the city and Forest Park, and a gorgeous outdoor pool for the warmer days.
After some exploring, we headed up to the suite to put on pajamas and end the night with some much needed girl talk. This was my first-ever staycation and I had a blast with some incredible ladies I'm proud to call my friends! If you're looking for a getaway, or a fun and exciting place for a staycation, The Chase Park Plaza Royal Sonesta is the place to go!
