Gratitude: Seeing & Hearing

Today, and everyday, I am grateful for the simple ability to see and hear.

Art and creation is something I heavily value in life. Creating content and art is what lets me forget my problems. It allows me to have a creative outlet, driving away my daily frustration and creating a breath of fresh air in my mind.

Of course none of this would be possible if I was unable to see or hear. I think about music and it’s ability to transform not only my mood, but also me as a person. Music works that way for a lot of people. So many people have used music as a form of expression. Others have quite literally been saved by the words that artists write. And more have used music as a way to deal with life’s curveballs.

Don’t you love hearing the words, “I love you.”

Or how about when someone says, “I’m proud of you.”

This would not be possible if we weren’t wired to hear.

And the gift of sight? It allows us explore nature, create new things, and find new discoveries.

It seems so simple, but everything really boils down to enjoying the little moments that ultimately make up the big ones.
